Click one of your pieces on the board (any piece except your King) to secretly make it your queen. It will keep its normal appearance to your opponent — only you'll see a small crown marker on it.
Before the game starts, you'll secretly designate one of your own pieces (not the King) as your hidden queen — it keeps its normal look but moves with full queen power for you. Your opponent does the same. Nobody's disguise is revealed until it makes a move its normal piece could never make.
Watch for the small crown marker on your own board — that's the only way you'll remember which piece is secretly your queen.
